Vibraphonist Lem Winchester was among the first African Americans to patrol the streets of Wilmington, Del., as a police officer in the late 1950s before becoming a full-time jazz musician.  

TRUE BLUE JAZZ Inc. (TBJAZZ), is an Independent Jazz Festival which focuses on “Straight Ahead” or “Mainstream” Jazz, and is a partner of WESM 91.3 FM.
