WILMINGTON, DE (AP) – A Newark auto dealer group has been ordered to stop advetising that violates Delaware's Consumer Protection Laws.
The dealership operates the Martin Honda, Kia, Olds and Mazda car lots in Newark.
The order from Judge Charles Toliver comes after an undercover investigation conducted by the state Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit.
The state alleges that the auto dealer included false claims in its ads in various Wilmington-area publications.
The state says the false claims include untrue statements about the price and finacing costs--along with language about zero-percent financing.
