Stephen Williams

General Manager

Stephen joined the WESM family in 2006, and currently oversees the station's administration.  A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Stephen was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon from 2000 to 2002.  He is the voice of WESM's morning local news each weekday. Mr. Williams assumed the full-time duties as General Manager in August of 2011.

Delmarva Power promotes Energy Wise Rewards Program

PRINCESS ANNE, MD (2013-04-18)--Local energy utility, Delmarva Power, is promoting a program designed to help manage energy usage for residents in Maryland and Delaware.  The program is called "Energy Wise Rewards" -- a voluntary program designed to help the utility better withstand periods of high energy demand during hot summer months, while helping the environment.

WESM 91.3 FM has been experiencing a prolonged outage of our on-line audio stream.  Please accept our sincere apologies for our current streaming problems.  Unfortunately, we’ve been experiencing significant and rather unusual technical difficulties with our encoding hardware and software – and our service provider and IT technical staff are still trying to troubleshoot the problem.

If you are in an area within a disaster declaration, you may be eligible to apply for disaster assistance from SBA or FEMA. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides loans to homeowners, renters, businesses and private non-profit organizations to repair or replace real estate, personal property, equipment and business assets that have been damaged in a disaster like Hurricane Sandy. However, the deadline is fast approaching, so qualifying residents are encouraged to apply.
